Brief introduction
“Oyunii Tuv" Elementary, Middle and Secondary School was established in 1999 with the vision of “Leading every child to achieve his highest potential." by the principal B.Enkhtuya who has 25 years of experience in Education. As we live in this globalized world, Information technology, English and Math are highly demanded as basic knowledge.
The School, which started with only eleven students, has over one hundred thirty students today and continues to grow.
In response to the high demand for expertise in Information Technology, English and Math, Oyunii Tuv specializes in these areas in order to equip our students for the globalized world of tomorrow.
The School is run by highly educated specialists on the major subjects. Executive director of Oyunii Tuv School B.Oyundelger has a bachelor degree in Applied Math, educated in English in UK and has a Master degree in Business administration. IT manager and teacher of Oyunii Tuv School B.Buyandelger has a bachelor degree in IT and educated by IT in Korea.
"Oyunii Tuv" school's policy is not only the academic knowledge and it has character education curriculum and different activities that improves students' talents. Oyunii Tuv School cooperates with the Character Training Institute of America and uses their fine Character education curriculum.
Since 1999, 1278 students have been educated by Oyunii Tuv School and over 215 students graduated successfully "Oyunii Tuv" School.
Followed by the development of Ulaanbaatar city, the number of people who would like to live in the city has increased dramatically since the democratic revolution had happened here in Mongolia. Therefore one-third population of Mongolia lives in the city Ulaanbaatar. As a result of that, the number of students at Elementary and Secondary Schools have enhanced excessively. For instance, most state schools have over 30 to 60 students per class. 3 students sit at one table, and teachers face lack of controlling system over the students or they just could communicate a few students who are well at the lessons, in other words, they can not communicate with all students intimately. Basically, it effects highly to the quality of education. According to the statistics from Education department of Ulaanbaatar in 2009, there are 207 Elementary and Secondary schools in Ulaanbaatar with 164219 students.
There is a great demand of getting high qualified education for the children of Mongolia from Private schools. And there is a great capacity in Private schools rather than the State schools.
Oyunii Tuv School gives more qualified education than the state schools. It has 15 to 20 students per class which makes closer relationship between students and teachers. Also Oyunii Tuv School gives students variety of choices to get high qualified education by the use of modern facilities and the curriculums.
One of the most important goals of "Oyunii Tuv" School is to impact on the Information technology in Mongolia and in the World by providing IT education from the very young age such as at the secondary school age.
